Sigma Pi Fraternity at Missouri S&T was founded in 1933. The Fraternity is one of the top men’s collegiate organizations in North America, with more than 120 active chapters in the United States and Canada. With over 1000 alumni from this chapter; our men strive for excellence by living our core values to promote fellowship, develop character and leadership, advance heightened moral awareness, enable academic achievement, and inspire service. Sigma Pi is the only Greek letter organization with an international service program, The ACE Project, specifically designed to give back to our host institutions.
Any man of Sigma Pi Fraternity decided first to attend a college or university for the purpose of attaining a higher level of education to help him become a success in the future. The drive for excellence in scholarship is an essential part of our Creed, and thus is set high in our list of ideals. As a Fraternity, our first order of business is to provide the type of environment and support which will help all members succeed academically. We remain dedicated to our reasons for being here, earning consistently high GPAs and performing over 1000 hours of community service.
We truly believe that Sigma Pi is a lifelong experience full of accomplishment and tradition, with the bonds of brotherhood extending long beyond graduation. We emphasize the action of giving back, with our annual scholarship that awards thousands of dollars to deserving brothers. Alumni events like Homecoming, St. Pats, and Family Day allow all members, young and old, to have the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of brotherhood.
Come to events hosted by our chapter throughout the school year. We host brotherhood events such as movie nights, paintballing, bowling, attending sports games, and much more that are open to all potential new members so everyone has a chance to get to know the brothers at the Alpha-Iota Chapter.
